There are thankfully a huge range of apps, software and technology available for people with Visual impairments. What works for people varies and depends on individual choice and so it is a good idea to browse what’s available and try before you buy.
Blind in Business are an organisation that help blind and partially sighted people into work through mentoring, life-coaching, as well giving you the opportunity to speak and meet other visually impaired young professionals. They will also give you the opportunity to try out the latest assistive technology.

Humanware are a company that sell a variety of accessible technologies ranging from magnifiers e.g Humanware Prodigi 12 to the latest wearable technology e.g. Orcam.
Sight and Sound Technology provide a large range of hardware and software for the blind and visually impaired.
